CURRENT NEWS:

November/December 2008 - Recently returned from a transatlantic sailing on QM2 to film the final NY departure & crossing of Queen Elizabeth 2 as special bonus footage for my upcoming DVD "3 Queens An International Rendezvous". Jason Brown is composing an original music score for the soundtrack and we hope to have the final DVD released to coincide with the QE2's final trip to Dubai at the end of November. Some brief "Teaser" Clips can be seen on YouTube: Departing New York, Ship to Ship, Horn Salute. In Theatre I have been cast as Bruce Niles in a special staged reading of Larry Kramer's THE NORMAL HEART, directed by Brian Klaas, to be presented as part of Aids Awareness Week in December.

July/August 2008 - I am honored to have been confirmed as part of the 2009 Cunard Insights® Enrichment Programme where I will offer a series of fun presentations on board the grand ocean liner Queen Mary 2. My intial booking will be a Transatlantic crossing departing Southampton on April 20th for New York. Cunard's Cultural Insights® Programmes "explore a number of historical and contemporary issues presented by a wide range of speakers including explorers, academics, former ambassadors and politicians, historians and scientists, novelists, biographers and award winning actors and film makers".

May/June 2008 -Recently Co-Directed and acted in FICKLE FORTUNE, a 2008 entry for the Washington, DC 48 Hour Film Project again with Cavegirl Productions. Hosting selected episodes for the local cable show TOP OF THE MORNING and will emcee this year's live LAKEFEST as part of the Columbia Festival of the Arts. Opening June 20th, I play GARY GAUGER in a regional production of THE EXONERATED. This is a particularly chilling experience as Sunny Jacobs is a Cousin and we only met when my musical was running at the 2005 Edinburgh Festival in the Assembly Rooms and Sunny played herself in a Festival production of The Exonerated that won a Human Rights award and a Fringe First.

I recently filmed great new New York, Transatlantic and Southampton, UK footage of the Cunarders Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth, and the new Queen Victoria for my upcoming DVD TRIBUTE TO THE 3 CUNARD QUEENS, an International Rendezvous and Farewell to the grand QE2. QE2 will reture this November after 40 years and sails to Dubai to become a floating hotel on Palm Island.
